Garet Garrett
American journalist, editor, author and Old Right libertarian. Garet Garrett (�) was one of the lions of the Old Right best known for his critiques of the New Deal and as one of the most outspoken and articulate voices for the �America First� movement that opposed U.S. involvement in World War 2. By , Garrett had become a popular writer for the old New York Sun. Later, he worked as a financial writer for The New York Times, the Saturday Evening Post, and The Wall Street Journal. In he became the executive editor of the New York Tribune, but focussed on writing eight of his fourteen books between 20 and . He also wrote regular columns for several business and financial publications during this period.
