Carol Channing
American stage and film actress and singer. Channing's best known peformances were as Lorelei Lee in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and as the star of Hello, Dolly! for which she won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. While her career has focused on the stage, she has appeared on TV and in a few movies - notably in Thoroughly Modern Millie for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her autobiography entitled Just Lucky I Guess was released in 20.
