American poet. Widowed at with three children, Glazer went on to earn an Masters in English Literature and a Fulbright year in Ireland. After devoting two years to the Peace Corps in South America, she taught English and Humanities in Oregon schools for twenty years. In she was awarded First Prize in the William Stafford Award from the Washington State Poets Association. Her first book of poems, Some Trick of Light, was a finalist for the Oregon Book Awards in . Glazer's poems have been published in several literary magazines including Americas Review, Antioch Review, Berkeley Poetry Review, Calapoova, Calyx, Fireweed, Five Fingers Review, Hubbub, Mid-American Review, Plainswoman, and Sojourner.
