We have books covering many aspects of computer science, engineering and mathematics relating to computation -- including the history of programming, older programming languages, operating systems, information theory, biographies of the companies and people who were computer pioneers, electroacoustic and computer music items, and much more. Most of our items cover the period from the 1930's through the early 1980's, but we have some earlier (and some later!) items. Whether you are a collector of highspots in the history of computing, or a classic computing hobbyist looking for an original user's manual, or an engineer seeking an older reference book, we invite you to explore our shelves. Because we believe in making the old technology more accessible. Terms of Sale: We want your books to arrive in the same condition as when we packed them for you! So, we ship all books and journals in boxes, with plastic to protect against moisture and extra padding (bubblewrap, cardboard etc) to protect against books shifting during post office handling. MasterCard ,Visa, AMEX accepted. Paypal, Checks (U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank) or Money Orders also welcome. Books are returnable for a full refund if not as described, within 7 days after receipt; please contact us if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason. We will happily combine shipping on multiple books to one mailing address, to save you money. Libraries and institutions billed upon request.
