Opened in 1992 as Center Aisle Books in Holland, Michigan.
Old Bag Lady Books is now on-line and by appointment only.
We specialize in out-of-print non-fiction books with some nice first edition fiction. We take our customers, books and book selling seriously but believe we should be able to have a little fun with it as well - that is why the logo and website look is casual.
Not all of our books are rare, printed in the 1500s (actually, NONE of our books are printed back then!) but we have very good books printed in the 1800s and most of the rest are printed in the 1900s - most pre-ISBN (1970s). Some are actually almost new - printed in the twenty first century! Used, rare and out-of-print books for readers and collectors. We hope to sell some to you!
We are a member of and follow the IOBA guidelines for grading and take great pains to describe the appearance of each book as clearly and accurately as possible. We always mention if a book has highlighting or writing in it, or if it has a remainder mark or a price-clipped dust jacket. Definitions of descriptive terms can be found at http://www.tomfolio.com/Glossary/GlossaryA.asp.
