Near Fine in Fair dust jacket Second Printing Hardcover 120 pages; 4to (11") 28 cm; Tall hardcover, yellow cloth, b/w illustrated endpapers, 4 full-page full-color glossy illustrations including frontispiece, tons of small maps and b/w line drawings. ; Foreword by Bruce Catton. Noted American artist-historian Eric Sloan travelled from New York to Taos, New Mexico, by automobile in 1925 and again in 1960, along the way sketching roadside attractions, vintage cars, ancient barns, covered bridges, brand-new grain elevators, Native American dancers, and much more. ; Book shows only a touch of shelfwear. Jacket, which is uncoated and unclipped, is sunned, rubbed, spotted, with a small chip at crown and six small closed tears, but all readable.
