From Our Shelves click on book for description and larger image Terms of Sale: We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover (please supply a phone number, billing address and CVV number - the 3-digit number on the right on the signature side of your card), personal checks in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank, and USPS money orders. Books may be reserved for ten days if mailing payment (please inquire). Payment is due with order. Libraries and institutions may be billed. Items are returnable within seven days of receipt for any reason. Prior notification is requested. Returned items must be in the same condition as we sent to you. Please Note: We will quote any priority or international parcel from May 12, 2008 onward when the new USPS postal rates go into effect. U.S. Shipments are sent via USPS media mail (7 to 30 days) at $4.00 the first book and $1.50 each additional volume. Shipping via USPS priority mail (2 to 3 days) is $9.50 or less. Charges are reduced when possible, as when a flat-rate priority envelope ($5.00) can be used. We will quote very large or heavy books which may incur an additional fee. Express mail is available on request. Shipments within California will be charged state sales tax at 8.25%. Canada and Mexico Shipments are sent at cost + a small handling fee ($1 or less) via USPS global priority (6 to 10 business days - may be longer due to customs delays) at $20 or less. Charges are reduced when possible, as when a flat-rate priority envelope can be used ($10). First class international for parcels up to 4 lbs is also available (no tracking), often at a lower rate (delivery time varies by destination). We will quote very large or heavy books which may incur an additional fee. Express mail is available on request. International Shipments are sent at cost + a small handling fee ($1 or less) via USPS global priority (6 to 10 business days - may be longer due to customs delays) at $30.00 or less. Charges are reduced when possible, as when a flat-rate priority envelope can be used ($12 to most countries).
