The Novel Shoppe is an online book store specializing in Texana and Military, but carrying other categories of used and old books, as well as ephemera, postcards and back-issue magazines.

I have a cross-section of various categories and while you might find only 1 or 2 titles in any given subcategory, you're likely to find hundreds in others. If you don't know the title...or you're just looking for any title in a particular category...the best way to find it is by browsing.

How do you browse? The obvious way is to use the keyword search. But a better -- and more fun way! -- is to click on any category that most closely fits your need. You can then either use the keyword search within the category, or go "deeper" by selecting a Subcategory...and even deeper by using the keyword search within the subcategory! It's always been fun to go shopping! Now TomFolio has made it fun to go browsing and shopping!
I also have a selection of retro and vintage non-book items as well. Look in the Antiques and Collectibles area of TomFolio.

MY GUARANTEE: Your book will be packed well and shipped within 48 hours (usually 24 hours and often the same day).

Y'all come back, y'hear?

Aldrich, T. B.   From Ponkapog To Pesth  Publisher: Houghton, Mifflin and Company Boston, MA 1883. Good+ with no dust jacket 1st Edition; 13th Printing Hardcover Prologue: The reader will probably not find Ponkapog set down in any but the very latest gazetteer. It is the Indian name of a little New England village [in Massachusetts], from which the writer sallied forth, a while ago, on a pilgrimage beyond the sea. Ponkapog scarcely merits a description, and Pesth [pronounced Pest, in Hungary]-- the farthest point east to which his wanderings led him -- has been too often described. He is thus happily relieved of the onus of making strictly good the title of these papers, whose chief merit, indeed, is that they treat of neither Pesth nor Ponkapog. Spine and top of green & gilt front board age-darkened. Front and rear gutters beginning to crack, foxing, original pocket from 1908 still present, as is the check-out card. Some biopredation to front board and on the spine. NOT A PRINT-ON-DEMAND COPY. ; Ex-Library; Small 8vo 7" - 8" tall; 267 pages; 25999
Appr.:  |  AUD 59.84  |  CAD 59.21  |  EUR 40.00  |  GBP 33.96  |  JPY 4,500.00  |  MXN 750.00  |  ZAR 633.80  |
