ROBERTS BINGHAMTON NY STONEWARE BATTER JUG.
Manufacturer: William Roberts, Binghamton, NY 1848-82.. Ovid, salt glazed (tan) exterior. Albany slip interior. Hand-turned. 9 1/2" h. Tubular spout (1 3/4" d.), loop handles on sides, & ear handle on back separately shaped & applied. Cobalt brushed around spout, loops & back handle. Impressed on back "W. Roberts Binghamton" (N.Y.) / 6". William Roberts (1818-1888) used this mark 1848-82. No bail handle. 4 old, tight cracks in side: 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 4 1/2", 5" long respectively (outlined in red in photo). Small chip on spout & 2 on the back handle as shown in the photo.

UNREPORTED BLUE & WHITE STONEWARE CROCK or COOLER LID.
Manufacturer: Unknown. Unknown.. Sunflower finial and sunflower leaves. No such pattern is reported in the literature. 71/2" d. across outer rim. 6 1/4" d. across inner rim, thus fitting into a top with about a 6 1/2" d. opening. 3 well-stabilized hairline cracks tangential to the rim: 2 1/4", 1 3/4" & 1 7/8" (see photo).
