Authenic 1930s CITROEN PETITE ROSALIE Promotional Toy.

Pressed steel. Lead or lead alloy wheels with steel axles. Body painted gray. White driver's head with 2 black dots for eyes. Black steering wheel. Black gills on side of hood. Solid black front grill. Black stripe runs from the front to the back wheel. "PETITE ROSALIE" stenciled in black on trunk along with a chromolithographic Citroen emblem of a swan with two chevrons. 3 5/8" l. (9 cm). Note: This was acquired by the previous owner in Italy during WW2. Grill lines on one side show wear, some spots of rust at the bottom of the decal, decal has a few edge chips & a spot missing at the back of the swan o/w Near Fine, i.e. minor signs of use & age with no significant defects.

1937 GMC Tank Truck. Diecast metal with solid yellow exterior. 3" l. 3 lights on top ofcab, 4 detailed caps on tank top, rear of truck has detailed doors, on the rear of the truck, closed wheel wells, black rubber tires on axles with no spacers. Embossed "Tootsie Toy Made in U.S.A.". C. 1947 thru 1954. Scattered tiny chips & scrapes to paint. A flaw in the making on one side along theintersection of the tank & the side panels where an excess of paint was applied creating broken bubbles.
