1940S IDEAL PINOCCHIO 10 1/2 WOOD & COMPOSITION WALT DISNEY DOLL.
Manufacturer: Ideal Novelty & Toy Co., New York, NY. 1940s..
Composition head & fully-jointed, painted, wooden body. 10 1/2" h. Stenciled label on stomach: "Pinocchio/ Des. & C. By Walt Disney/ Made By Ideal Novelty & Toy Co.". Rear base of head embossed: "C WDP Ideal Doll." Original bow tie, but felt hat is missing. The elastic strings are in good working condition. There is no worn paint or chipping, but the torso has 4 paint cracks on the front, about 6 on the left side & 2 on the back. The head has 4 more minor cracks with some hardly discernible crazing in the hair. There are many minor paint cracks & some paint crazing on the white collar. Otherwise in Fine condition.

Assortment No. 70400. Copyrighted 1976. Dolls about 4" h., box 5" h. Uneeda Dool Co., Brooklyn, NY. Made in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong. All boxes are missing their hanging tabs. (1) Blue Outfit: Scar in the front upper right corner of the box, very mildcrease across the lower right corner of the side panel o/w Very Good, i.e. signs of careful use with no significant defects. (2) Green Outfit: Partially removed price sticker with scar on the box lid o/w Very Good. (3) Red Outfit: Partially removed price sticker with scar on the box lid, scar in the front lower & upper left corners of the box, & 2 scars on the back of the box o/w Very Good.

Reidsville, N.C./ C 1975 Chiquita Brands Inc./ Chiquita Is A Registered Trademark of United Brands Company". There are also four state registration numbers. Some very light soiling o/w Near Fine, i.e. clean with bright, unfaded colors; seams intact; fabric undamaged.
