Turn-of-the-century umbrella frame with gold-filled handle. Exceptionally fine work. Handle measures 9" in length. Marked inside on frame "HO NAIRGER, MAKER, 316 S. Broadway, Baltimore, Maryland." Monogrammed AR. Gold filled or "total gold plate" is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass. Not to be confused with gold plating, gold-filled has 100% more gold than plating.

We accept payment by check, Visa or Master Card. We will refund the cost of a book if it's not as described but ask that you notify us within three days of receipt. We ship in the United States through the U.S. Postal Service. Priority mail: $7.50 for one volume, $2.00 for each additional volume. Regular mail: $4.50 per volume, $1.50 each additional volume. We also insure most books at our own cost, so if your delivery isn't timely, please let us know.
