The largest new, used and rare book store in Contra Costa County, California, we have over 6,000 square feet of floor space and more than 250,000 books. Only a small part of our inventory is listed online. This engine (in the left column) searches only our Concord location, and not our other location, which has its own rare-book listing website provided by TomFolio. One-quarter of our stock is new books that are deeply discounted from the cover price, anywhere from 10 to 50%. We are open seven days a week, with large paperback and children's sections. Directions to our Concord Location: In Concord, from Interstate 680, take Willow Pass Road exit and head east. Just after crossing Market Street, and at the next light, turn left into the shopping center "Park & Shop", where we are located. We are just a few doors east of a local landmark in the center, the old Capri Theater, now closed, but its marquee is still there. Bay Books is a member of the American Booksellers Association, and of the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association.
