Original $3.00 price intact. Book sharp, tight, and clean with ownership blindstamp to ffep. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by author Sexton to ffep in year of publication: "For Ticko and Bitsy with love, Anne Sexton Dec. 1962." The blindstamp touches the word 'Bitsy' in the inscription, but it is still bold and legible. Binding: Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine in Very Good DJ. First edition of the confessional poet's uncommon second book of verse and one of her more difficult to find signed. Follow-up to "To Bedlam and Part of the Way Back, " it is arguably her strongest collection, containing some of her best work including "The Abortion" and the title poem. 68pp. Quantity available: 1.
