Jan. 12th, 2010 - I'll be exhibiting at the New York Antiquarian Book Fair, April 9th-11th (with a preview April 8th) at the Park Avenue Armory.

Aug. 5th, 2009 - We've moved. Please note our new contact information to the right.

Feb. 9th, 2009 - My third catalog, LIVRE BRUT: 20 Vernacular, Folk and Outsider Books, is completed and available for download (PDF) or by request. Highlights include a photo album of the 1904 Sierra Club High Trip to Yosemite, one of the earliest Navy "cruise books," a stunning handmade book by a Korean War POW, and many more.

August 12th, 2008 - I am very happy to announce that I have been accepted as a member to the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America (and by extension The International League of Antiquarian Booksellers).

May 7th, 2008 - I was interviewed about a rare archive of William S. Burroughs material I and colleague Ken Lopez sold. More details on the blog.

Feb. 15th, 2008 - Catalog #2 is (finally) complete. It includes rare and important items from Emily Dickinson, Jack Kerouac, Jo Mora, John Steinbeck as well as several nice early American imprints, scarce art and architecture titles, Americana, Californiana and more. Email to request a copy or download here.

I run a small used, rare, and antiquarian book business in the Washington DC metro area (formerly the Cannery Row Old Book Co. of Monterey, CA). Search and want services are available, as are appraisals and collection development. Please inquire. Offers of books for sale are actively solicited, from individual titles to entire collections. Proud member: ABAA, ILAB, and IOBA. More about me can also be found here.
