We have been an internet bookseller since 1998.
Our specialties are Asian Art and Studies , from the Near East and Muslim world through Central and South Asia to the Far East and Oceania- China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Pacific Islands.
We also have a focus on Buddhism and Eastern Religions , which includes more general spirituality and new age items.
World social movements, Socialism, Communism, and radical studies generally, are another major concentration.
We have a large inventory concerning Russia, Eastern Europe and the former Soviet states .
A further area of interest is Native American Indian Art and Studies. In addition we have a grouping concerned with Ethnographic and Tribal Art worldwide.
Along with Oriental Rugs and Textiles of the World, Photography, and Travel and Exploration, we round out our stock with serious non-fiction.
Although we have books representing the main areas of American and European Studies and Art, our major emphases are on the non-hegemonic areas.
Terms of Sale:
We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Western Union Money Transfer, check or money order (checks and money orders must be in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. based bank). On orders within California, sales tax of 8.75% will be automatically added to the total. California dealers can of course give us their resale number in lieu of tax.
We ship promptly. All our books are carefully packed. Delivery confirmation is included on all books shipped to the U.S. Insurance is also included on all books costing $40.00 or more. For countries that don't have USPS Global Priority service, postage charges will be different. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is very heavy, multi-volume or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required, although we normally absorb most extras.
All books are in very good condition or better unless noted. All books are returnable upon notification within 30 days, in same condition as sent.
