   Music in Boston Author: music in Boston. Published by New York / Boston / Philadelphia / Baltimore, 1831-1835. Private collection of 66 pieces of music, printed in America, most for piano four hands. Printed primarily in New York City (slightly over half) and Boston, with Philadelphia (5), Baltimore (2), and Providence (2) imprints. Many pieces have the stamps of Boston music stores. Those with dates range between 1831 and 1835, when this collection was assembled. Bound in three-quarter leather with brown marbled paper boards. Some pieces are foxed and there are a few tears, but for the most part this is a nice exemplar of musical New England.
