Covers examples from Africa, the Americans, Indonesia, Europe, Asia, Oceana, etc. Punch and Judy, marionettes, hand puppets, stick puppets, shadow puppets, and so on, rather comprehensive in scope and date range. Short text descriptions for each category or ethnic group followed by clear B&W photo illustrations. The condition is overall good, with a light water stain in upper left page margins, not reaching text or illustrations. Faint small circular (teacup?) stain on front cover.
