Fritsche. ; The ZMC-2 (Zeppelin Metal Clad) was the world's first and only metalclad airship, constructed for the US Navy between 1927 and 1929 by the Detroit Aircraft Corporation and in service until 1941. ; Exterior shows no defects. Front endpaper is imprinted, as issued, with the following: Inscr*ption to Walker C. Morrow and s*gnature of Carl B. Fritsche; s*gnatures of Edward J. Hill, Ralph Upson, Arthur G. Schlosser, W. A. Klikoff, and Vladimir H. Pavlecka, all engineers or designers on the project. Same endpaper is also inscr*bed in ballpoint 'Mar 1989, Best Wishes, Clarence Hunt.'
