Paperback. Condition: Fair/None Pale blue 12mo. with gilt titling and illus on front, soiled, (else good). Interior clean and unmarked. Foxing on page edges, not inside. Date and place of publication not given. Begun more than 150 years ago and still in operation today, Cunard Line is home to the world famous Queen Elizabeth. This program, 'Summer in Winter, ' describes the accomodations on board their Mediterranean cruise line, and provides sketches of each of the stops: Madeira (Portugal), Gibraltar, Algiers, Tunis, The Riviera, Monaco, Naples, Rome, Messina (Sicily), Alexandria, Aboukir, Cairo and The Nile (Egypt), Vienna, Budapest, Fiume (Hungary), Trieste (Austria). Illus. with B&W and color photographs of the ship and its destinations, a central track chart of its course, charts and tables (i.e. time differences, visibility distances at sea, currency exchange rates, and 1913-1914 cruise schedule.
