Pages consist of generic print ads designed for use by all manner of merchants and professionals including fashion, furniture, coal, candy, hats, furs, bankers, politicians, dentists, and generic sales banners. Many have blank areas for insertion of, for example, dentist's name. ; Very little wear, but one leaf has one item clipped out (we assume a generic man, based on context) but there is also an extra clipping laid in of a fashionably dressed generic woman. Covers have small holes near corners, as issued, presumably from being printed on newspaper-printing machine that creates guide holes near corners. ; The oldest book of advertising 'clipart' we have seen yet.
