Report of Commission To Investigate Problems of the Cotton Textile Industry.

In 1934, 28,569 cotton textile workers in the North earned $0.41453 per hour in wages, while in the South 55,211 workers averaged $0.35074 per hour. This 6.379-cent difference meant $2.55 per week.
