The is a facsimile edition of the Dent edition of 1909, which incorporated the complete Caxton text, and which introduced a fine young illustrator by the name of Aubrey Beardsley (he was barely 20 years old at the time he took this commission, which made him a household name). This edition contains over 1, 000 examples of Beardsley's illustrations and designs, including ten illustrations that were omitted from the first edition. The book and dust jacket are about as new, the slipcase has some very tiny rubs to color at a few corners, easily recolored.
