The prospectus, bound first, is 2 p. with a color plate, Fashions from Paris, following. The first number includes Funeral March Composed on the death of a hero by L. Van Beethoven; Valse de Milan Composée par Celli; Abd-El-Kader (portrait); Fra Diavolo, Musique de Auber, Romance; The Elf-King. A Danish Ballad; Le Pré aux Clercs, Musique de F. Herold, Couplets. Bound in 3/4 leather over marbled boards; front cover & first several pages detached, rear cover held by a single string, backstrip perished; waterstains on front lower corner throughout & partially along top edge; some mending with archival tape; withal good. stock#44888.
