Maxwell's achievements concerning electromagnetism have been called the "second great unification in physics", after the first one realized by Isaac Newton. Section A of Fenwick’s bibliography begins with Maxwell’s books and their editions. Fenwick attempts to list every edition, issue, state and variant of all of Maxwell’s books.Section B covers Maxwell’s papers which have appeared in print in serial publications and are listed in all known editions.
