Infantray Drill Regulations, United States Army, with Rifle Marksmanship, Caliber .30, Model 1903 (Springfield) and Caliber .30, M1, Military Discipline and Courtesies, Interior Guard Duty
Publisher: The Military Service Publishing Co., 1938 Harrisburg, PA.
Book. Book condition: Good. Soft cover 12mo - over 6 - 7" tall "This text includes, in brief and simple form, the essentials of infantry Drill and Ceremonies which every soldier, every military organization, and every organization within conducts drill along military lines must know. The drill set forth is that prescribed by the War Department for all components of the Army, as given in Basic Field Manual, Volume II (Infantry Drill Regulations), simplified and condensed to meet the requirements of enlisted men and students, civilian societies and clubs. To the essentials of drill and ceremonies there have been added the important subjects of Individual Equipment, Shelter Tent Pitching, Rifle Marksmanship, Military Discipline, Courtesies and Customs of the Service, and Interior Guard Duty. This little volume therefore covers a large part of the essential training of the soldier, in compact form, and at a price which places it within the reach of all. Carefully prepared illustrations are liberally used wherever necessary to make the text perfectly clear. The questions at the end of Rifle Marksmanship, Courtesy, and Interior Guard Duty, will be found useful for study, self-test, recitation and examination, as they fully cover the various courses." 136 pages. Book is in GOOD condition. Paper wrappers; stapled binding.
