Glossy throughout. ; Isbn 0978697014. Originally published by Chicago: M. A. Donohue, 1906. This is a facsimile reprint, published by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Marquette, Michigan, 2006. Complete subtitle: 'Containing a Full and Accurate Account of the Development of the Catholic Church in Upper Michigan, with Portraits of Bishops, Priests and Illustrations of Churches Old and New'. Marquette is in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and was named for Jacques Marquette, an early French Jesuit missionary there. ; Upper tips bumped. Front four leaves show light wrinkles. No other defects. ; Laid in: small card imprinted with brief history of the Sock of Bishop Frederick Baraga, a relic said to have cured a person of dropsy in 1868, item not dated, but recent enough to have an em ail on it.

Sections include: location in Upper Peninsula; list of 11 trustees, 2 faculty, 7 special lecturers; equipment students should bring; subjects of instruction including botany, dendrology, mensuration, silviculture, woodcraft, forest surveying, forest law, forest finance, soils, tree diseases. ; Prospectus for school year 1912-1913. ; School was founded 1909 by Professor Thomas B. Wyman, lived 1880-1936, known as 'Father of Forest Conservation in the Upper Peninsula'. ; Exterior shows moderate wear. Rear cover, unlettered, is slightly discolored. No writing or scribbling. Staples rusty but intact. Quite scarce.
