First Edition Quarto, about 10 inches tall, in beige cloth decorated in brown. 78 pages illustrated in black and white. A delightful story about the emergence of a witch during World War II caused by a U.S. Army bulldozer disturbing her burial ground in an English field. A very well preserved copy with the text just a touch toned, but otherwise a clean, soundly bound copy with no sign of wear. The jacket is complete but for a tiny chip at the head of the spine. The extremities show very light wear and the rear panel edges are also lightly worn. Hardcover Hardcover Fine in Very Good+ Dustjacket
