Quaife, Milton M.; introduction by Joy Morton.
Chicago's Highways, Old and New, From Indian Trail to Motor Road.

Publisher: Chicago: D.F. Keller & Co., 1923..
First Edition Large octavo, about 9.75 inches tall, in dark brown faux leather stamped in gilt. 278 pages illustrated by drawings, maps including three foldouts. A delightful history of the city as it evolved around old trails. About as nice a copy as there's likely to be. The wrap around dustjacket is clean and unfaded with minimal loss of material at the tips and at the ends of the rear spine fold. There is a tiny tear at bottom front panel. The covers have light extremity wear with some bumping and more serious wear at the lower front corner but the gilt titles are bright. Inside is clean, sound and ever so slightly toned. Hardcover Hardcover Near Fine in Near Fine Dustjacket
