Bradley, Tom.:
The OLD COACHING DAYS in Yorkshire.
Publisher: Leeds, Yorkshire Conservative Newspaper Co. (. 251pp + 5 pages advrts. Illustrated by the author. Many old Yorkshire Coaching Inns are included in the illustrations in the text which number nearly 100. This interesting book was based on articles in the Yorkshire Weekly Post: considerably augmented , the main object being to keep a record of the old Yorkshire coaching times. The list of stage and mail coaches and their departure times and stopping points extends to 28 pages. New endpapers have been tastefully fitted, and the pages tightened. Now a good tight copy, bright and clean internally. Very small amount of old pencil annotation- could be easily earased. Bound in olive green cloth, black lettering to cover and spine. Gilt stagecoach illustration to front cover - still very bright. A very attractive copy of this book with the recent professional binding attention. 8 1/2 x 5 3/4 inchs.
