Printer's code dated 1978. We cannot read Armenian, but with a help from dictionary we believe this is a biography of John or Johann, an Archimandrite (bishop) in the Orthodox Eastern Church of Armenia. ; No defects to book. Jacket lightly rubbed and worn.

Good Non-Book 1 pages; Folio (21") 46 cm; This is a large framed document in Armenian. Frame measures 17 x 21 inches, area inside matte measures 11 x 15 inches, printed area (oval) measures 9 x 12 inches. Floral border is tinted in green, yellow and orange. Embroidered or applique flowers are green, yellow and white. ; Ivory-white document printed in black. White matte. Silver frame. Date unknown but appears to be 1910-1930s. We will e m ail larger images on request. We cannot read Armenian but we assume this is a religious document, possibly a marriage certificate. Symbols include Christian cross, lamb, angels, an eye inside a pyramid. ; Document is clean and intact. Matte is foxed, has dampstain to lower corner, not affecting document. Sold as is. PLEASE NOTE: This item is large and under glass. Shi pping will be negotiated.

Text pages are somewhat yellowed from age but not brittle. No interior marks or writing. Hinges have some play but binding is intact. Quite scarce
