Paperback. Condition: Fair/None Staple bound B&W program, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 ins., ink marks and coffee stains on front cover, edgeworn and 4 1/2 in. crease at bottom corner. Rear cover loss over photo of coliseum, (3 1/2 in. long strip as of adhesive removed). This program includes a schedule, roster, and round-up of opponents for the 64-65 year, with an introductory article Granger on Tiner by Gene Granger of the Florida Times-Union. Tiner was married for 7 years with a 6 year old daughter and an Army veteran when he played basketball for JU. According to the JU Dolphins Hall of Fame site online, Ralph Tiner was a two-time NAIA All-American and a UPI Little All-American as a basketball star from 1961-65 at JU. Tiner is the only JU player to score more than 2, 000 points and the first player in the state history to accomplish the feat. He is also the Dolphins All-Time leader in total points (2, 184), field goals (815) and free throws (554). Language: English. Pages: 20
