Gift, Theo; illustrated by Edith Stanley Berkeley; edited by Geo. C. Haite.
Lasses and Lads.

Publisher: Philadelphia: Lippincott, 1888..
No Edition Indicated Stiff green illustrated card covers about 7.5 inches tall with string tied binding. Unpaginated, about 30 pages. All edges gilt, color illustration on cover but duotone (green and white) inside. A survivor for sure, this being a rather cheaply made pamphlet size childrens' book with a string binding The epitome of Victorian sentimentality, and almost certainly first published in England. Very cute. Extremities are modestly worn with some rounding of the spine ends and wear to the spine. A gift note on the first leaf (not properly termed an endpaper in this kind of binding) dated Valentine's Day 1889. Otherwise, a very nice, soundly bound, clean copy. Wraps Wraps Very good+
