First U.S. Edition Quarto, almost 13 inches (33 cm) tall, in white cloth stamped in black. 220 pages illustrated by 12 original lithographs (including the dustjacket), and 191 reproduction plates, some in color. The first volume in what would be come a six volume catalogue raisonne. The battered acetate jacket has been replaced but the original is included. The dustjacket, which is also an original lithograph has light edge and extremity wear, mild sunning to the spine, about a dime-sized chip at the top rear panel, and a couple of short edge tears. The covers are clean but there is a light bump to the upper front tip. The interior is clean and soundly bound. Hardcover Hardcover Very Good+ in Very Good Dustjacket
