V. Williams Jackson." Authorship attributed to Muḣammad Muḣsin, called Fānī. Abridged from the first edition of the translation begun by D. Shea, completed by A. Troyer, and published in three volumes (London, 1843). In accordance with its title-- "Dabistán-al-mazáhab" (School of Religious Doctrines or Institutes)-- the work presents a sketch of many different kinds of doctrines and religious tenets, notably of Magism, Hinduism, Christianity, and Mohammedanism (cf.
