Pouyat China (company), Illustrated by: B&W Illustrations
Choice Selections from the Baron's Cook Book
 Picture
Publisher: Paroutaud and Watson New York.
Slick color illustrated paper wraps. 28 + 2 pages. Some very, very French recipes (translatedby Arthur W. Harris) to be served in J. Pouyat Limgoes china illustrated in B&W. Maker's marks decorate the top of each recto page. The recipes are for sizeable amounts and not for the beginning cook! The cover is edge-worn with small corner chips and spine splits (nearly detached). It has an ink inscription, Compl. and what appears to be Sam Barron, could be significant but I have no way of confirming that this is the Barron of the title. Internally quite clean and very good with once tiny chip to the lower first page corner. A very scarce and attractive advertising booklet with useful information for the china collector as well.
