The pictures show wonderful vintage aircraft, but the text gives short biographies of about 100 pioneer pilots including barnstormers and other performers, the Johnson brothers work with the Forest Service, military pilots from Montana, etc. Well written with first class production values. A little soiling to the bottom of the text block and a hint of extremity wear to the book, but otherwise clean, sound and unmarked. The jacket has minor soiling and edge wear and two tears: a quarter inch tear on top front panel; and a one-inch tear at head of spine.
