It includes biographies and portrait engravings of the presidents (through Benjamin Harrison) and the state's governors (through Edwin B. Winans who took office in 1891), All include a signature facsimile. The rest of the book delivers bios of the local residents of importance along with many portrait engravings. A typical elaborate production of this sort during the period, but limited to biographies - no history. An incredibly well preserved copy. The inside is clean and soundly bound; the patterned endpapers fully intact; the paper is barely toned. The beveled boards show minimal wear at the extremities; the spine is a bit mottled with darkening adjacent to the rear cover; and there are two black stains along the spine on the rear cover which total less than 2 square inches. The covers generally have a very attractive patina.
