Stained glass is a highly collectible subject field, in this book the author reviews the history of stained and painted glass from its beginnings up until the date of publication : as one would expect with a 1950's title from the Clarendon Press, this book is excellent reference. Bound in russet red-brown buckram cloth with gilt blind decoration to front cover, gilt title lettering to spine : internally a good tight copy, the pages are very bright and clean. Very good cond. - regret no dustwrapper. 9 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches
