Young Girl in Eyelet Dress with FOLKART Carved Horse Pull-toy
 Picture
This is a charming little 5 x4 studio print mounted on a 9x6-inch card. Shown is a little girl in an eyelet lace dress and wearing ribbons and Mary Jane shoes. Her hands are on what may well be a studio prop, but which is infact a very charming folk art pull-toy, apprently hand carved and painted and with leather bridle and martingale. Wish I had that horse!! There are a couple of light scratches in the upper left of the image, some dusty soil on the card, and one card corner chipped. Good, if a little worn. PHOTO 5675

PHOTO of Boy in Knee pants, Edwardian era, with Toy Elephant and Lamp
 Picture
Wonderful studio posed photography, 6 x 4 inches. Smirking boy in bowtie, vest, knee pants and striped stockings poses beside what appears to be a cut-glass lamp, a vase, and a toy elephant, probably carved wood. The photography failed to notice that the lamp cord is highlighted! No date, probably circa 1915-1925. Very good condition. This is NOT a reproduction or reprinting, it is the original vintage photograph. Mounted with clear archival photo corners on a colorful piece of cardstock for protection. Very nice professional photo of a baby in a wicker chair, playing with what appears to be a celluloid or early plastic doll. Handsigned, photographer's name appears to be 'Slate.'
