Illustrated by Esther Schwinck. ; The word 'draft' is stamped on front cover in very faded ink. Very pale dampstain affects lower fore-edge of last 27 leaves, it enters text on three leaves but everything is quite readable. No other marks. Top edge is rough, as issued, as if two books were printed together then separated along perforation. Binding of three staples intact. Appears to have never been issued to or used by children.
