Making Character Doll's Houses in ½ Scale
Publisher: David & Charles England 1999.
This is a really marvelous book with directions and patterns for making doll house scale cider barn, forge, and inn, a Georgian house, and a watermill. I can't decide if I like the Cider barn, with its apple mill and cider press and thatched roof best, or is it the watermill with its chain-driven water wheel that operate millstrones, a sack hoist, and a flour dresser? A small electric motor runs the mill wheel. Other parts of this collection have working features, electrified lighting, etc. For those accessories for which there are not patterns, there is a list of suppliers. These are structures for adults more than for children, although of course any child would be totally delighted by them and could learn from them as well. aperbound with 192 pages illustrated with color plates and working diagrams and patterns. There is also a section on working tools and techniques. The book is in very good condition and ready to give you endless hours of pleasure in crafting these crafty miniatures! craft 5719 Second Edition Paper Bound Very Good Condition Tall 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Tall Craft

An Eighteenth Century Workbook for the Miniaturist: Bedroom
Publisher: National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts, 1985 Williamsburg, VA.
Book. Book condition: Very Good. Soft cover 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall "..This Eighteenth Century Workbook is meant to provide the miniaturist with patterns, instructions, and information for completing, and furnishing a bedroom of the period. The format begins with a beautiful room box which may be constructed exactly as shown, although some miniaturists may prefer to use architectural elements taken from the room as part of other projects or dollhouses. The design may be varied at the whim of the craftsman, transforming it into a parlor, dining room, . shop, or other imaginative habitat. Following the room patterns there are numerous furnishings and accessories that will complete the bedroom, including the canopied bed, curtains, dressing table, chair, bed steps, clothing, and many other items. It is suggested that patterns be traced from the pages so that the book may be kept intact for future reference, or for use as source material.." Very well illustrated. 44 pages. Book is in VERY GOOD condition. Paper wrappers; stapled binding.
