Gilt on the decorative portion of the spine is worn with about half missing, small section along the top of the back cover is worn o/w Very Good, i.e. some signs of careful use with no significant defects/ DJ (front top edge has two 1/8' tears; spine faded with extremes very worn; back cover has a 1/2' edge tear on the top & bottom edges, a 1 1/2' x 1/2' waterstain on the top edge, a puncture & a small stained area).
