An auction program for 'Cleeve House, ' Wiltshire, Ashton Giffrod near Codford. ) The estate of W. H. Targett, deceased.) Manila paper wraps. 11.75 x 8.75 inches, 8 pp. A pocket in the rear wrap is empty. The property consisted of the house and 44 acres of pasture land, auctioned on Monday, 20th July, 1953. 1902 Alaska placer mine claim and map: original Documents

Publisher: Alaska 1902.
The document is written in oak gall ink on a sheet of paper 11x8.5 inches. It reads: "We the undersigned citizens of the United States have discovered gold in the ground hereafter described and hereby claim for placer mining purposes in accordance with the laws of the U.S. 40 acres situated on the Nome River a tributary of Behring (sic) Sea to be known as the "Dora" Bench claim and described as follows:" [lengthy legal description written out]"Located July 14th 1902 . It is signed by George Chary (with a hand drawn seal) and James Harris (with a hand drawn seal and witnessed by T.J. (?) Hubbard and W. H. Carson. Official filing stamp and handwriting on reverse side, filed on Aug 21, 1902 and recorded in book 104 or 544. Number handwritten at top of filing is 16134. The map is 15 x 10.5 inches and is a cyanotype (blueprint copy) showing an official survey Sept 5-6, 1904. The document has been (officially) folded and also rolled, the map has been rolled. Quit Claim Deed Between Theodore M. Koues and Wilder T. Thomspson: San Francisco recorded 1854

Publisher: San Francisco California 1854.
A quit claim deed, about 12.75 x 7.75 inches, with an offical notary note on blue flimsy, 5.5 x 7.5 inches, attached to the deed with red wax impressed with notary seal. A smaller red wax seal is on the deed beside the signatures. Both documents are printed forms with pertinent information inscribed by hand. The deed is for property described as "number 63 ..of the Beach and Water Lot Survey being on the Northwest corner of Front and Jackson Streets - together with the buildings tenenments heritaments & appurntenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining." The deed transfers title from Theodore M. Koues to Wilder T. Thompson for the amount of $2500. Signed by notary William (?) Graham and recorded at the request of James, Doyle and Barber Attorneys. In clean, sound condition, folded as usual, with tiny splits at fold edges and a few creases in deed upper left corner. This appears to be a prime piece of San Francisco real estate, just off the Embarcadero. EPHEMERA 4980 Original Document Very Good Condition Ephemera
