Maine, New York, Boston, Williamsbrg in the US and London, Florence, Munich are among the places Salter sought. He had no specific collecting subject, so bought anything that caught his eye. These are charming stories and the drawings by Hilda Simon are a perfect match for the style. Stock# 32,727. Vg/vg.

It's a relef to know his parents didn't inflict him with his name. This is a veddy veddy English view of the antique world and Shaker Heights adds nothing to its scope. Bibliography: p. 137-138.
