Book with very light edge wear. The jacket is unfaded with a one-inch tear at the bottom rear panel with an associated chip. Another very small chip at the top front panel. Otherwise just minimal edge wear. Octavo in recent black library buckram. 252 pages. A collection of reports issued by the government directors of the UP during its construction and early operations. The reports were received by the Secretary of the Interior. There is not a proper title page. It starts with a letter of transmittal from President Cleveland dated 1886 that this was produced in response to a Senate Resolution. Ex library from the Association of American Railroads with number on spine and stamp on the front endpaper as well as one opposite the first leaf.
