North Shore Line Memories.

Publisher: Northbrook IL: Domus Books, 1980..
First Edition ISBN: 0891960740 Quarto in green cloth stamped in gilt. 287 pages illustrated by photographs. A rather personal history of the people working on this interurban. Plenty of well captioned photographs, but the book's emphasis is on stories of people and events including a lengthy recital of wrecks. Previous owner name and embossing stamp on front endpaper, but the inside is otherwise clean and sound. The covers have barely a hint of wear, but there is substantial water exposure evidence at the the corner of the front cover adjacent to and spreading to the foot of the spine. Perhaps total area of damage is 4 square inches. The jacket is complete, without tears, but with light edge wear and some cracks in the lamination at lower front cover where the water exposure to the cover took place. The damage was confined to the cover and jacket, with no evidence inside. Hardcover Hardcover Good in Very Good Dustjacket
