Textured paper wraps, originally gray, front faded to buff. 40 pages with B&W plates from the work of Raffet, on coated paper. This booklet is an abridgement of a chapter from the author's book 'Some Masters of Lithography." Raffet was a French lithographer of prodigeous output, most noted for his illustrations of military subjects. Some nice images (though small) of French military engagements, uniforms, etc. Front cover faded as noted with (protected) gray strip near spine edge. Cover laps somewhat chipped and ragged along edges. A little toning to title page, otherwise contents are very clean and bright.
