Stewart Woodfill at the "National Dinner" of the Newcomen Society in North America at the Grand Hotel on June 28, 1969. The introductory remarks of Walker L. Cisler , Chairman of the Board, the Detroit Edison Company and chairman of he Michigan Committee in the Newcomen Society in North America, precede Mr. Woodfill's address in this booklet. In this booklet, you will not only learn the history of the Grand Hotel, you will also see some historic drawings of the hotel and of Mr. Woodfill dating from 1890 to 1969.
