Good HC reprint ed. w/dj in mylar. A small amount of wear and chipping at edges of dj. Some wear, soiling and stainting of dj overall. One 1 in. tear at bottom of back of dj. Ends of cover spine slightly bumped. Some small areas of wear at edges of cover, particularily at ends of spine and corners. Some stains on cover, particularily near the edges. Some foxing and staining of front and rear endpapers. Gift inscription in ink on front free endpaper. Slight soiling of edges of text block. Binding is sound and tight. Text is clear and clean. This is not a true autobiography, but instead a composite created by Ben Reitman based on the experiences of several individuals with whom he was acquainted. He apparently intended for readers to believe there was a real Box-Car Bertha. 314 pp. Dust Jacket: Good Hard Cover Good 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
