Barker, William J., Bill Wood, editors, et al.
Rocky Mountain Life (magazine).
Publisher: Denver: Bell Publications, 1946-1949. Bound Periodicals Two bound volumes of a local interest periodical from the post-World War II era. From Volume I, Number 1 (March 1946) to Volume IV, Number 6 (September 1949). This is 41 monthly issues, apparently missing vol. I, No. 12 and vol III, No 7. Generally each issue is 48 pages, but several both more and less (December issues being significantly larger). Articles on art, photography, leisure activities including skiing of course, personalities, entertainment. Nicely produced although the paper quality at the beginning was not high, and the last two issues in a smaller format are a little cheaper. The lower margins are trimmed, but not significantly (no loss of text, but evidence of the trimming obvious on the covers). Bound in royal blue buckram with the magazine covers included. Bindings sound, very light shelf wear. Clean and unmarked. Hardback quartos Hardback quartos Near fine
